ATE Software Engineer

Reporting to

Engineering Manager / Test Equipment team leader

Scope

To support the Test Equipment Engineering team in the design and development of new and existing software requirements. To develop software and hardware solutions for a wide range of equipment and component test requirements.

Main Duties

• To develop software and hardware solutions to meet the diverse range of TMD test requirements.
• Develop understanding of TMD products and their software requirements.
• To develop automatic test stations using Labview for various product ranges.
• To support Equipment Engineering in development and improvement of existing products and technologies.
• To support Equipment manufacturing activities
• To ensure compliance with TMD manufacturing procedures and quality manual.
• To achieve scheduled activity against forecast/plans.
• To undertake any other task, which may reasonably be requested.
• To comply with the Company Policy on Health & Safety.
• To ensure software development is commensurate with the company’s software quality management policy.
• Maintain an ‘Engineers Daybook’ to allow visibility of activities in the event of absence.
• To support the company’s software review process to ensure visibility of software function.
